The Faculty of Engineering and Information Sciences is a research intensive Faculty with extensive teaching operations in Australia, Asia and the Middle East. It has approx. 5000 undergraduate & postgraduate students onshore and offshore, and approximately 353 academic/research/professional staff. The School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering (MMMB), which is one of the top Engineering Schools in Australia, is committed to research and teaching excellence through its world-class undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a range of exciting technological areas

This position will play a key role in strengthening the research and teaching of the School of Mechanical, Materials, Mechatronic and Biomedical Engineering in the field of fluid mechanics. It is  expected that this position will teach at all levels of the curriculum including the team-taught introductory engineering subjects and specialised subjects on bulk materials handling, conveying of bulk solids, engineering mechanics, fluid mechanics, machine design, emerging manufacturing technologies and similar, depending on the expertise of the successful candidate.
