The Research and Innovation Division is responsible for developing and delivering the University’s strategies to consolidate existing, and build new, areas of world-class research excellence and to develop a distinctive research training capability and capacity.

The Senior Policy Advisor & Project Manager is an influential, multi-faceted role. The position provides high level policy advice and project management support to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) to achieve the University's research and research training objectives. The role will be expected to demonstrate leadership and drive innovation both within the Division and to the wider University.

The position is responsible for providing policy analysis, developing portfolio strategy & undertaking in depth sector research. They must stay abreast of major institutional, sector specific, community, business and government related issues and provide high-level analytical input to external and internal reports and analysis. The role will provide exciting challenges as the Division leads the University’s continuing evolution to best serve its partners and respond national and international opportunities.
