Group Marketing serves all university groups to promote the University's brand, reputation and achievements globally. The Communications team provides advice and guidance on effective internal, external communications and issues management strategies. The team manages the University's reputation in the media as well as with key stakeholders and develops high level messaging about the University for its target audiences.
Group Marketing is currently looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to manage the communication plans that promote the University Masterplan and associated projects across a range of internal and external audiences.
You will work extensively with a range of University and external stakeholders, utilising your stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills to contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Property communication plans and strategies.
Proven experience executing communications plans is essential, preferably within property development or real estate environment, and the ability to work to tight timeframes.
The University has recently embarked on an exciting journey of campus development, in addition to your resilience and consultative approach you will need to have experience in a complex, change-driven environment and be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity.

- Degree and experience in communications, or related marketing discipline
- Demonstrated skill and experience writing and developing communications across various channels and for a range of internal and external audiences within the property or real-estate industry
- Developing communication plans tailored for multiple target audiences and implementing in a highly complex, community focused organisation
- Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships and networks
- Experience working in/with commercial real-estate project marketing to write press releases/ advertisements to position property developments
Salary Package: $90,330 to $97,937 (HEW Level 7) per annum plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Appointment Type: Full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 April 2020
