The Role and Your Responsibilities

As the Associate Professor in the Aerospace Engineering and Aviation you will be expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching and research efforts in Aviation science, including but not limited to aircraft and airline operations and support systems, aircraft maintenance, air traffic control, airport and airline management. Whilst providing leadership to conducting high quality research that maintains close interaction with industry and professional bodies, locally and internationally.

Skills & Experience Required

We are seeking an individual with a proven record of academic and/or professional achievement in Aviation Science topics related to RMIT Universities research efforts. You will have proven ability to undertake high quality research resulting in high quality journal articles in recognized international journals together with your ability to prepare and win competitive research grants. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment, will be necessary for success in this role.
