Information Technology Services (ITS) provides corporate IT services to ANU staff, students and visitors in support of achieving excellence in research, teaching and public policy. These services include network, communications, computing platforms, data storage, desktop and mobile access, enterprise systems, student learning environments, and IT security. The work of ITS is coordinated with services provided within and by University Colleges and other Service Divisions to form a cohesive, University-wide information services infrastructure.
The Network and Telephony team deliver robust and efficient network services to the University’s enterprise, research and teaching environments. This is delivered through fixed, wireless and telecommunication networks, including supporting services such as network monitoring, DNS, F5 load balancing and fixed/wireless network authentication systems within the primary ANU campus, and our remote sites.
The Network and Telephony Manager will work under the broad direction of the Associate Director ICT Infrastructure, assuming responsibility for effective leadership of the Network and Telephony team to deliver all team responsibilities. This will include strategic planning/advice, project and service improvement implementation, incident response and ongoing BAU support. A high level of customer service and responsiveness is expected of this position.
