The University of Otago is New Zealand’s oldest University with a strong teaching and research tradition and well-established national and international linkages. In this newly created role you will lead the Marketing Services function, with a focus on the delivery of high quality marketing services across the University, and the development and execution of leading-edge marketing. You will also play a lead role in the development and implementation of the University’s digital strategy.
Based in Dunedin, New Zealand and reporting directly to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, External Engagement, this is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding senior leader to provide direction and vision in the development and delivery of the University’s marketing services.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for a leader with experience in:
- Leading the provision of a cohesive marketing service in a large, complex organisation.
- Leading the production of high quality, integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital.
- Creating and implementing strategic plans aligned with high-level organisational goals.
- Leading the achievement of organisational goals and objectives through the delivery of high quality customer focused services.
- Effective budgeting, business planning, and team leadership.
You will be highly articulate and collaborative with the energy and drive to deliver outstanding results and create a customer-focussed culture of high performance and achievement.
