The College is located on RMIT University's City Campus and resides in the state of the art Swanston Academic Building and Emily McPherson building.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

As Project Manager, Industry Engagement you will support the Industry Engagement portfolio in the College of Business, comprising of Executive Education, The Australian APEC Study Centre and the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) | Industry Engagement | Alumni teams. You will be responsible and accountable for leading, managing, coordinating and delivering on strategic and operational projects within the College.

You will undertake high-level project research, management, coordination and support activities that contribute to the end-to-end delivery of large, complex projects. In fulfilling these responsibilities, you will play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, Industry Engagement and the broader Industry Engagement portfolio to deliver innovative projects that contribute to the transformation of the student experience in the College of Business.

Working closely with the relevant communities of practice within RMIT you will represent the College at working groups, committee's and other relevant forums to the position.

Skills & Experience Required

You will have substantial experience in project management and coordination, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying interest groups whilst achieving excellent outcomes. You will also have exemplary interpersonal and communication skills that enable high levels of successful stakeholder collaboration. The capacity to work as a member of a team is critical, along with your strong initiative and self-motivation to work independently when required and achieve to deadlines. Responding to and managing the expectations and requirements of key stakeholders will be essential to your success in this role.

A qualification in Project Management will be viewed favourably, along with a degree in business or other relevant discipline.
