Construction Project Manager
Salary - £32,548 - £37,706 per annum
Full time, fixed term contract (6 months)
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to manage the delivery of high profile, multi-faceted construction projects which will further enhance our magnificent campus and the student experience. You will have a proven track record as a Project Manager who has worked on a range of construction schemes, preferably within the Education sector.
Working within our Information Learning and Estates Directorate, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our construction programme and provide professional and technical expertise which supports our short and long-term priorities. As this role requires the establishment and maintenance of good working relationships with internal and external partners, you will have experience in collaborating with a broad range of specialists, professionals, and senior members of staff.
Your experience will include the preparation of project briefs, reviewing project plan responses, the preparation of contract and award documentation, and finalising business cases and reports. This experience will be within NEC contract management and you will have a proven track record of delivering large-scale and complex projects according to defined outcomes.
You will be working in a skilled and supportive team and will have superb team working and leadership skills, with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and report and present on complex technical issues to non-technical management audiences. We are looking for an innovative and strategic thinker who can demonstrate their ability to translate plans into action, and who has a desire for continuous improvement.
