National Programme Director – Professional Development

What are we looking for?

Building on recent growth across all areas of the portfolio, we have embarked upon an exciting and ambitious plan for expansion and diversification. As part of this, the Professional Development (PD) programme team have a vacancy for a National Programme Director to report directly to the Pro Vice Chancellor: External. The post-holder will be accountable for the development and geographic expansion of PD programmes and products (legal and business-related), coupled with responsibility for programme revenue through new market initiatives. Managing a small team of dedicated tutors and self-employed consultants where required, you will deliver an outstanding student experience (in house and externally), through continuous improvement and innovation in delivery of the PD programme.

The ideal applicant will be in a senior management role within a legal, educational or commercial environment. You will be able to demonstrate tangible success in influencing strategy, business and academic development, through the management and maintenance of a course, product or service.
