Applications are invited for appointment as Research Officer (holding the title of Project Manager) (several posts) in Community Child Health in the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree or a Master's degree in Community Child Health, Social Science, Public Health, Education, Psychology, Child & Adolescent Development or related fields, with 5 years’ relevant experience in the area of project management and programme development. They should have strong leadership and management skills for multidisciplinary teams and coordination with partners from various sectors; strong communication and interpersonal skills; and excellent command of written English. Experience in managing large-scale projects would be highly desirable. The appointees will coordinate a large-scale school and community-based multidisciplinary project on comprehensive early childhood intervention in under-privileged areas in Hong Kong. They will work closely with project partners from health, social welfare, education and private sectors to ensure smooth project execution and good communication maintained within and beyond project team members and partners.
