Working with UK-based FutureLearn, which has over six million learners worldwide on its collaborative learning platform, the University has launched its first Master’s programmes in January 2018. The roll out of 50 online degrees over the next five years will deliver world-leading programmes, accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.
The creation of supporting infrastructure within a new, dynamic and innovative business is pivotal in helping the University Group design and develop wholly online distance learning courses at both pace and scale. This post is a thrilling opportunity for a highly experienced Digital Media Producer to join a new business and growing team dedicated to designing and developing degree courses for online delivery. You will work with other Senior Digital Media Producers to develop and lead a team of digital media content producers and copywriters within the new subsidiary company, and you and your team will be responsible for developing innovative, inspiring and enjoyable online content for 50 high-quality online degrees over the next five years. These degrees will be accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.
You will have demonstrable experience of leading teams in producing digital content at scale for online courses and in creating narrative though digital media. A significant part of your role will be to contribute to the establishment of mechanisms for building transformational and engaging student-centred learning experiences in a wholly online environment. This initiative is of significant strategic importance and will consequently have a great deal of visibility within the University Group.
