Working with UK-based FutureLearn, which has over six million learners worldwide on its collaborative learning platform, the University has launched its first Master’s programmes in January 2018. The roll out of 50 online degrees over the next five years will deliver world-leading programmes, accessible to thousands of new distance learners across the globe.

The creation of supporting infrastructure within a new, dynamic and innovative business will be pivotal in helping the University Group design, develop and support wholly online distance learning courses at both pace and scale, truly pushing the boundaries to establish a broad portfolio of degree courses with a distinct style and pedagogy. As a pivotal senior manager of Coventry University Online, you will lead and manage a team responsible for our end-to-end student recruitment including all Marketing and Admissions activity, developing and delivering an operationally effective strategy whilst driving its implementation in line with Coventry University Online’ s strategic objectives and the University Group’s Corporate Plan.

You will identify market opportunities for the University Group’s online degree course portfolio, delivered in conjunction with FutureLearn, implementing comprehensive and sophisticated digital initiatives across a full range of media and channels to drive student enquiries and subsequent applications from markets both domestically and internationally. Whilst doing so, you will ensure the continuous development of staff, practices, protocol and systems to maximise conversion to enrolment and realise the business’ strategic objectives and in-year student recruitment targets.

Key to this will be overseeing the delivery of a web and social media strategy to maximise profile-raising and engagement across key territories on a global scale, as well as identifying and analysing market data to best position the Group’s online degree course provision, creating a strong and engaging brand relevant to all potential audiences. You will ensure all strategies are created and executed in collaboration with the central Marketing and Admissions teams, and ensure activity for online degree courses is fully integrated specifically into all other digital campaigns where appropriate. Working with the Group Recruitment & Admissions Team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policy and processes for the admission of students to online degree courses, whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer service and professionalism are applied throughout the online student journey.
