Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology, to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biomedical science, preferably in cancer, molecular biology, cellular biology or related disciplines. They should have experience in cell culture, functional studying of signal transduction pathways, flow cytometric analysis, and molecular work including quantitative PCR. Experience with preclinical drug testing and a good publication record are advantages. Applicants should also have a good command of English, good interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of research-related computer softwares, and be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team for smooth running of a research laboratory. The appointee will work under the supervision of Dr. Albert Sin on research projects relating to haematological malignancies.
