The role of Clinical Academic within the School of Dentistry contributes principally to clinical teaching in Oral Surgery and research. A contribution to the scholarship of teaching is encouraged and contribution to service and engagement is expected.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate with a passion for clinically focused teaching and research in Oral Surgery. Applicants should possess an advanced professional qualification relevant to Oral Surgery and hold full registration with the Dental Board of Australia. Applicants must demonstrate ability and enthusiasm in high quality clinical teaching in dentistry at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
A Higher Degree by Research (PhD or equivalent) is desirable.

This is a full-time continuing appointment at Academic Level B, C or D, which will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
The level B remuneration package will be in the range of $92,142 - $109,419 p.a. FTE, plus Dental Loading of $15,175 p.a FTE, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $107,807 - $128,020 p.a. FTE).
The level C remuneration package will be in the range of $112,874 - $130,150 p.a. FTE, plus Dental Loading of $15,175 p.a FTE, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $132,063 - $152,276 p.a. FTE).
The level D remuneration package will be in the range of $135,909 - $149,731 p.a. FTE, plus Dental Loading of $15,175 p.a FTE, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $159,014 - $1175,185 p.a. FTE).
