Applications are invited for the post of School Operations Officer within the School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham. 

The School of Computer Science at the University of Nottingham is a modern and dynamic place to work and study providing state-of-the-art facilities and undertaking world-leading research which tackles difficult real-world problems that often have high impact on industry, commerce and the public. Student numbers on our taught courses are buoyant and are growing.
We are seeking a School Operations Officer to support delivery of key areas of our activities which underpin the on-going success of the School. In this multifunctional role, they will co-ordinate and lead continual improvement and planning of the School operational procedures, processes, projects and events. Specific responsibilities include scholarship co-ordination and review, support of student recruitment activities and research grant/financial management.

Candidates must have relevant experience, to include project or budgetary co-ordination, ideally in a higher education or similar environment. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a collaborative and professional approach to engaging colleagues. The successful candidate will have proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities, experience of spreadsheets and business information systems as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure, with a flexible approach, whist managing multiple tasks.

This is a permanent full-time position. Job share arrangements may be considered for this position.
