Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow (2 posts) in Pharmacoeconomics/Pharmacoepidemiology in the Centre for Safe Medication Practice and Research, Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy, to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. 

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Public Health, Biostatistics, Health Economics, Computer Science or related disciplines.  They should have excellent quantitative and analytic skills with knowledge in pharmacoeconomics and/or pharmacoepidemiology, especially on drug utilization research.  They should also be detail-oriented with strong communication and writing skills, and have the ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks.  Experience with the management of large data sets and complex analyses using R, SAS or other software will be an advantage.  The appointee will work on multiple pharmacoeconomics and/or pharmacoepidemiology projects, including the analyses of cost-effectiveness, budget impact, burden of disease and willingness-to-pay data.  Training opportunities will be provided for advanced methods on pharmacoeconomics and or/pharmaepidemiology in areas such as cardiology, gastroenterology, neuropsychiatry, antimicrobials and endocrinology.  Information about the Centre is available at
