Cranfield University is an exclusively postgraduate University with an excellent global reputation for industry-relevant education and research.
The Cranfield Safety and Accident Investigation Centre (CSAIC) is a specialist unit within the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing dedicated to high-quality teaching, research and consultancy in transportation safety management and incident / accident investigation.

The CSAIC is looking for two new Lecturers or Senior Lecturers to join this enthusiastic team. The successful candidates will contribute to the development and delivery of our high-quality Continuing Professional Development and Masters programmes.

In addition, they will be involved in bidding for, leading and delivering high-quality consulting and bespoke training within the field of aircraft accident investigation.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience relating to aircraft accident investigation, but would also welcome applicants with investigation experience from other transport modes.

A PhD is typically expected for this position, however applicants with significant experience in a relevant industry or commercial setting are also encouraged to apply. Experience in accident investigation or aviation safety is essential as is training or teaching experience.

These are full-time positions, although it may be may be possible to offer a fractional appointment for the right candidate.
