Monash is now seeking to appoint an outstanding Senior Vice-Provost and Vice-Provost (Research) to succeed Professor Pauline Nestor. With an opportunity to build upon an exceptional platform, the post-holder will provide leadership for the University’s research performance and research agenda across faculties, centres and research institutes and improve Monash University’s academic outcomes and standing as an excellent and research-intensive global university.
Reporting to the Provost and Senior Vice-President, the appointee will demonstrate complex leadership experience in guiding academic and research affairs and in advancing institutional excellence in a global competitive landscape. An innovative, visionary and dynamic individual capable of inspiring minds of the highest calibre, the future incumbent will bring an outstanding personal record of achievement in research and a real commitment to develop an environment that allows talent to develop and thrive.
