Research Technician, Psychological and Brain Sciences
This is a full-time Research Technician position in a human cognitive neuroscience laboratory in the Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University. In our laboratory, we study the neural mechanisms of visual perception and cognition in healthy people and people with psychiatric illnesses.
A successful candidate will possess exceptional computer programming skills (perferrably in Matlab or Python) and be highly energetic and self-motivated. Expertise in mathematics, such as linear algrebra, circular statistics, and graph theory are also desirable. The technician will recruit and screen research participants, collect electroencephalographic and behavioral data, administer transcranial electrical brain stimulation, program experimental tasks, and develop algorthims for the processing and analysis of brain signals and behaivor.
Bachelor's degree and one year of experience.
