Working within the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, you will contribute to an area of Architecture to further enhance research, enterprise and teaching in this area. The department has particular strengths in Building Information Modelling/Digital Construction, People and Place, Practice Based Design and Sustainable Construction Technology & Process.

Applications from excellent candidates from these areas and other Architecture and Built Environment backgrounds are encouraged.

You must hold a first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline, and have subject expertise in architecture with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
