The Faculty of Engineering and Environment is committed to the applications and principles of Science and Technology in all its forms and strives to be excellent in research, teaching and innovation.
Working within the Department of Architecture and Built Environment, you will contribute to an area of Building Information Management to further enhance research, enterprise and teaching in this area. The department has particular strengths in Building Information Modelling/Digital Construction. The post will support research complementary to the award winning BIM Academy Joint Venture company working with Ryder Architecture. Applications from excellent candidates from this area and other Architecture and Built Environment backgrounds are encouraged.
You must hold a first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline, and have subject expertise in building information management with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
