Salary: Lecturer £34,520 – £38,832 ; Senior Lecturer £39,992 - £49,149

Working within the Department of Mathematics, Physics and Electrical Engineering you will contribute to an area of electrical engineering. The department has particular strengths in communications engineering, and electrical power engineering. Excellent candidates with expertise in optical communications or power systems are particularly encouraged to apply though we will consider high-quality applications in any area of Electrical Engineering. A willingness to conduct short periods of teaching overseas in China, Malaysia and Singapore would be a requirement of the post.
You must hold a first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline, and have subject expertise in Electrical Engineering with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
