The role & key responsibilities

The Senior Lecturer/Lecturer will contribute to the teaching and research efforts within RMIT Asia Graduate Centre (RAGC) of the School of Business and Management. The incumbent is to make a significant contribution to the delivery of graduate programs and to be actively involved in research, consulting and other professional activities. The position holder will develop, engage in and lead high quality research projects that are aligned with the University’s research focus areas to achieve success in attracting research funding and to produce high quality outputs.

Key selection criteria

  • A relevant PhD or equivalent Doctoral qualification in business administration or related area.
  • At least 5 years relevant teaching experience in a University environment, preferably at the graduate level.
  • Specialisation and teaching experience in a business related discipline such as Marketing/Sales, Management, Finance/Accounting, Logistics, Operations Management, Strategy, Business Communications, Technology Management, or Entrepreneurship.
  • Proven track record in teaching as evidenced by student evaluations.
  • Experience teaching international students a plus.
  • Recognised research profile.
  • Strong team player with an inclusive and collaborative approach.
