Senior Lecturer and Course Lead for the Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

Salary - £38,833 - £49,149 per annum

Full time, permanent position

We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to make a permanent and full-time contribution to our vibrant undergraduate and postgraduate offers, and to further strengthen our growing research activity. Our School offers a number of undergraduate degrees that confer the Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society, and a dynamic, developing postgraduate provision in both taught and research degrees.

The successful candidate will lead the Doctorate of Counselling Psychology (which is due to start in 2018), and contribute to teaching Counselling Psychology. They must hold a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology or have equivalent professional experience, AND be eligible for Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Counselling Psychologist. Candidates are expected to have teaching experience and research interests in Counselling Psychology, and will be supported to develop an outstanding publication profile.
