Teaching Fellow (Fixed Term) in Physics (3 posts)

The Department of Physics at Durham University seeks to appoint an exceptional scholar as a Teaching Fellow with teaching interests in any area within the broad field of Physics. This post offers an exciting opportunity to make a contribution to the development of the Department’s teaching and curriculum and the successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of excellent teaching, informed by a knowledge of and commitment to evidence-based innovative practice in a physical sciences higher education context, and will contribute to a range of activities in support of the Department's undergraduate teaching programme, under the management of the Director of Education.

These posts are to cover the teaching responsibilities of colleagues who will be focusing on alternative work for a period of time. These posts are therefore for a fixed term, one until 31/12/2018 and two until 30/9/2019 and it is not anticipated that the posts will be extended beyond this fixed term. Please specify in your application which post(s) you wish to apply for.
