The Faculty of Health and Life Sciences seeks to appoint a dynamic, high calibre individual to a new Professorial which will complement and strengthen existing research and expertise related to health and social care.

This is a kew research leadership role and we want to attract someone who can drive and enhance the best quality research, entrepreneurial activities  and teaching, and actively support and encourage these amongst colleagues.
Candidates should have a demonstrable research expertise relevant to health and/or social care.You must hold a first degree and be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline and have leading  subject expertise in an area relevant to the Integrated Health and Social Care theme with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. In particular we are keen to appoint someone with experience in working across helath and social care boundaries or public health research. A proven ability to secure competitive research funding, deliver high quality postgraduate supervision and research led teaching within an appropriate field and a publication profile commensurate with the post of Professor or Associate Professor are essential. This post will have a key research leadership role in the Department of Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing with strong links to the Integrated Health & Social Care multidisciplinary research theme.
