Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology (Ref.: 201800067) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Veterinary Medicine or a related discipline. Prior experience in antiviral study, animal experiments, molecular cloning, and drug screening will be an advantage.  Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to those who have an interest in pursuing further M.Phil./Ph.D. studies. The appointee will work on research projects related to antiviral drug development and virus-host interaction under the supervision of Professor Kwok-Yung Yuen and Dr. Jasper Chan.
