The Department invites applications for a Lecturer post in the Urban Studies Programme. Applicants should (i) have a higher degree in geography, planning, urban studies or other related disciplines; (ii) demonstrate potential for teaching excellence and contribute actively and productively to enhancing the Programme; and preferably (iii) substantial experience in teaching cultural geography and urban studies related subjects. The appointee will (a) teach introductory courses at undergraduate level; (b) coordinate the final year theses; and (c) assist in programme administration and development.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years commencing December 2018, renewable subject to funding, performance and mutual agreement.
