The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science is seeking to appoint a high performing and driven leader, manager and scholar to the role of Deputy Dean.
Our breakthrough engineering and computer science research, incisive knowledge exchange transfer, and commercialisation of game-changing technologies are making significant contributions to a vibrant world economy and safer global community.
The Deputy Dean will support and partner the Dean in the leadership and management of the College during an exciting period of change and growth as the College reimagines and custom builds a new type of engineering and computing for the future.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate success both in their current role and in their upward trajectory in academic leadership. They will be consultative and collaborative in their approach, offering strong ambassadorial skills. They will be a builder, motivated and dynamic, robust and engaging in their management of stakeholders. The appointee will be highly focussed on the successful operation of the College and its place at ANU and beyond.
Although alignment with current disciplines of the College is preferred, the ANU is open to consideration of those with broader relevant academic engineering and computer science backgrounds. The University encourages consideration of the role by candidates from diverse backgrounds.
