As Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medicine, you will strategically lead a team of Heads of Department across the three divisions: Biomedical and Life Sciences, Health Research and Lancaster Medical School. You will relish this exceptional opportunity to build the reputation of the Faculty as a major international presence in the field of health medicine and life sciences as well as a key leader for one of Lancaster’s pioneering new projects, the Health Innovation Campus, which will bring together innovators, academics, businesses with local government and health care providers to drive advances in technologies, products and ways of working to improve health and healthcare. You’re an outstanding leader with an ability to think strategically and then develop and implement long term academic and management plans with the ability to foster and facilitate a supportive environment for intra-faculty, inter-disciplinary and consortial work for the benefit of Lancaster University.
