Hired@UCB provides careers, employability and placement services to our students based upon 6 key themes: GET Started, GET Skilled, GET Experience, GET Hired, GET On and GET Enterprising. We currently have a vacancy for a Recruitment Consultant within our Unitemps recruitment agency.
The role of the Recruitment Consultant is to support students to gain valuable paid part-time, seasonal and temporary work with external employers and/or within UCB. This post will contribute to the delivery of the hired@UCB Business Plan through a clear focus on GET Hired and the delivery and growth of the Unitemps Recruitment Agency at UCB. Duties include the prompt and efficient advertising of all vacancies, shortlisting of candidates, interview arrangements and administration of placed candidates, in addition to undertaking contract and price negotiations with clients and running an accurate and timely payroll.
You will develop strong links with UCB Schools and Departments regarding the service as well as engage directly with employers to source and develop partnership and opportunities, including the identification of sales leads, through telesales marketing, client prospect meetings and sales and marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate will have relevant recruitment experience and experience in a client-facing role. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills, the ability to work with a diverse range of clients, and proficiency in administration and the use of IT.
