Faculty of Business
The Faculty of Business at Lingnan University provides high quality business education distinguished by the best liberal arts tradition. Taking a full range of interdisciplinary courses during their 4-year study in arts, humanities, social sciences, science and technology, students in our Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) programme also study the foundation business subjects and choose to specialise in accountancy, finance, risk and insurance management, human resource management, marketing, or general business management.
The Faculty of Business is home to nearly 60 academic staff across five departments: Accountancy; Computing and Decision Sciences; Finance and Insurance; Management; and Marketing and International Business. The Faculty provides a supportive and friendly environment and is embarking on a programme of recruitment to grow areas of acknowledged strength.

Department of Management
The Department of Management (http://www.ln.edu.hk/mgt/) contributes to the undergraduate programme of Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree and offers a major in Human Resource Management. It also offers a taught MSc programme in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour as well as MPhil and PhD degrees in Management.
The Department invites applications from candidates specialising in strategic management, human resource management or organisational behaviour.
Candidates should have:
- A PhD degree in a relevant discipline with substantial teaching experience.
- A strong international reputation and an outstanding track record of high impact research publications and competitive research grants.
- Strong research leadership capabilities and experience, with a commitment to helping other faculty develop their research and providing research supervision to students.
- Previous administrative leadership experience at the Department or Faculty level will be a distinct advantage.
Successful candidates will be appointed as Chair Professor in the Department. Appointment with substantiation/tenure will normally be considered.
Appointees are expected to provide strong academic leadership in both research and teaching, and to contribute to the administration and management of the Department, and to the development of the Faculty of Business.
