This full-time post is available from 5th February 2018 on a permanent basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic disability professional to take up the post of Pathway Lead (AccessAbility). You will assume responsibility for the day-to-day management and operational oversight of the work of the University of Exeter's AccessAbility Service (Disability Advice, Exeter Access Centre and Non-medical helper Services). In addition, the post holder will take a lead role in developing our outreach services, with the purpose of raising awareness of support for disabled students amongst prospective and enrolled students. The post holder will also play a key role in the provision of disability advice and support, and directly line manage the AccessAbility adviser team.
The AccessAbility Service is part of the University's Wellbeing Services, comprising also our psychological therapies team, mental health advice, and welfare caseworker service. We would be keen to hear from experienced disability professionals, relevant educational specialists and/or health practitioners interested in supporting students and managing a team in a university environment. You will be a skilled practitioner who has a thoughtful and adaptable approach to your work, as well as a real interest in managing complex difficulties and sensitively supporting students. You will also be committed to the advancement of disability services, inclusion agendas and widening access to this important student community.

The salary will be £34,520 - £38,833 per annum subject to knowledge, skills and experience.
