Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering

The Senior Lecturer will make a significant contribution to the teaching and research outcomes in the Mechanical and Automotive Engineering discipline, focusing on mechanical engineering design and management and Life Cycle Analysis with EWB (Engineering Without Borders) knowledge and expertise.
The Senior Lecturer will participate in the academic activities of the School and the College, and pursue a program of professional development consistent with the strategic goals of the School. This is a senior academic position, within the Discipline of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering, and the appointee will undertake high quality teaching, research and industry engagement in the designated field both nationally and internationally.
Skills & Experience Required
- A proven record of academic and/or professional achievement in Mechanical Engineering, especially in the field of e-Design, Computer Aided Mechanical Engineering Design, mechanical engineering design and management and Life Cycle Analysis
- Experience preparing and winning research grants and/or research contracts
- Experience with the grant proposal submission in Australia is highly desirable.
