The Department of Economics offers the following programmes: Bachelor of Business Administration (Applied Economics Concentration), Bachelor of Social Science in China Studies (Economics Concentration) and Master of Science in Applied Economics. Senior Lecturer / Lecturer I / Lecturer II (PR221/17-18) 

The Department invites applications for a teaching-track position. Applicants should have a relevant higher degree. The successful appointee should demonstrate the ability to teach economics courses with ample business and policy applications. Priority will be given to those who can teach courses related to big data analytics, economics of digital markets and studies of the information economy. Those with industry background and experience in managing internship and/or academic programmes will be favourably considered.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two years starting from September 2018. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding. 

Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
