Instructor II (PR228/17-18) 


The appointee will work in the General Education Numeracy Team and is expected to supervise the team and coordinate courses in Numeracy General Education and Mathematics. Duties include teaching courses, providing administrative support in course preparation, preparing teaching materials, supervising staff, liaising with teaching staff, students and external bodies, and performing any other duties as assigned. 

Applicants should possess a Master's degree in Mathematics or related disciplines. Having a Postgraduate Diploma and/or Higher Degree in Education will be a definite advantage. The appointee should be self-motivated and willing to learn; have strong communication and interpersonal skills, good analytical and problem-solving abilities, and basic computer knowledge. 

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
