Part-time Project Manager (at the rank of Research Assistant I) in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 201701782) (to commence as soon as possible for six months, on a 20% part-time basis, with the possibility of renewal)

The Faculty of Dentistry has developed the first MOOC in Implant Dentistry which involved the production and set-up of an innovative online course, attracting thousands of students worldwide. The community of learners established through this course counts thousands of students and clinicians all over the world. Now we are looking for a project manager to join our young and dynamic team of educators, clinicians and IT and media experts. The appointee will work with a vibrant team of academics and clinicians to support the management of the on-line community, coordinate further productions and expand the reach of our courses.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Education, IT, Media Production, Journalism or a related discipline. They should be self-motivated, with good communication and organizational skills, capable of using social media and working in online environments. Those with experience in managing educational or media projects and respective evidence are preferred. The appointee will manage on-line communities, maintain the overview of the scheduled tasks, coordinate the collaboration between different teams and ensure timely advancement of the project. He/She will work closely with the project leader and liaise with the academics and the production experts.
