University Governance is seeking someone to fill the role of Senior Adviser for a 6 month, fixed-term contract. The Senior Adviser provides support and advice regarding University Governance with a particular focus on the drafting and reviewing of delegated legislation.
You will be part of a team providing high level support and advice to ECU’s governing Council and related sub-committees, and to senior staff of the University. The team also works closely with the ECU Student Guild on governance-related matters.
As Senior Adviser you will work with a high degree of autonomy on often complex tasks and projects. You will provide high quality advice and support to the Manager University Governance, as well as working closely with University Governance Advisers. You will have excellent writing and analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of the legislative and policy framework affecting higher education providers.

Benefits & Remuneration
This position attracts a salary of $113,602 to $118,875 pa, plus 9.5% University superannuation contribution. A part-time appointment (remunerated pro rata) will be considered for the right applicant.
