Charles Sturt University and the NSW Police Force have formed a unique partnership to design, develop and deliver tertiary courses in policing. The partnership is an important strategy in the development of police recruit level training in NSW. The resources of both a large residential police academy and a responsive and progressive university have been brought together to provide a balanced, innovative service in police recruit level training and education.

The School of Policing Studies has staff located at both Goulburn and Parramatta who primarily teach and undertake subject development in the undergraduate policing program for internal and distance education students studying to be a Police Officer with the NSW Police Force.

The School is seeking applications for a Business Manager who will have responsibility for the management, coordination and direction of the School’s administrative and financial functions. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the School’s operations demonstrate sound practice and process and that they are compliant with overarching University policies and processes. The position has extensive advisory and management responsibilities with respect to the School’s budget and to business management of the School.

The successful applicant will be required to satisfy a Professional Suitability Check prior to their commencement.
