About the Position:

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine invites applications from qualified academics interested in joining our growing team. The Faculty is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor who will play a key role in the delivery of the Biomedical Science subjects and content across the Faculty’s programs, including the medical program.

About the Person:

The successful applicant will have an excellent teaching record and demonstrated interest in the provision of high quality teaching and student support. Significant demonstrated experience teaching in a range of fields at all levels including general physiology, neurophysiology and anatomy is required. Candidates must possess a PhD and the capacity to contribute to one of the current areas of research strength with the Faculty to be successful in this role.

Experience in a problem-based learning environment as well as experience with the development and implementation of web-based learning would be advantageous. 

Salary Details:

Salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience and be fully competitive in the Australian market. Salary packaging options are available for eligible employees.
