Position Summary:

The Manager, Facilities Contracts, under broad direction and reporting to the Associate Director, Real Property and Facilities, will be responsible for designing, documenting, and structuring holistic facilities management contracts and procurement processes. 

The Facilities Contracts Manager will work with the manager responsible for the delivery of each contracted service in order to understand the service levels/standards required. The Facilities Contracts Manager is then responsible for ensuring that contracts clearly articulate required minimum service levels/standards through measurable indicators and KPIs, and for developing contract incentives and/or penalties that provide the University with confidence that desired outcomes will be met.

Monitoring of the performance of contractors is the responsibility of each manager responsible for service delivery. The Facilities Contracts Manager will work with the service delivery managers, and where necessary liaise with contractors to enforce agreed contact terms.
