The academic activity of the University is supported by a wide range of service departments. The Research and Innovation Office supports researchers in working together to achieve excellence and impact in delivering the University’s vision for research and innovation.

We are now seeking an experienced individual with strong analytical skills to help deliver a collaborative service to our academic community, enabling them to identify, develop, record and generate impact from their research. This will include the production of case studies for our submission to the next Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021).  You will have a proven ability to develop and maintain effective links and working relationships across a range of stakeholders and possess a customer-focused, “can-do” approach. These attributes will be supported by high quality written communication skills and a strong aptitude for self-management.

In this role you will provide comprehensive advice and support to our academic and professional communities on research impact activities in accordance with the University’s Research strategy. Working with the REF Delivery Executive and Information Services staff, you will maintain and refine the current in-house system and other methods for capturing research impact.
