About the role

Play a key role supporting our molecular characterisation capability with a focus on NMR. The position is embedded within Capability B structure determination of La Trobe University-Comprehensive Proteomics Platform (LTU-CPP), which is utilised by researchers in the agricultural, health, life, molecular, pharmaceutical, population, and psychological sciences.

This role will provide strategic support and advice, develop systems and programs and identify trends and opportunities in Placement Operations, negotiate solutions and maintain productive relationships both internal and external to La Trobe.

Skills & Experience

Demonstrated management, maintenance and trouble-shooting of NMR instrumentation and the ability to apply these skills to other scientific equipment and to develop/deliver training modules and workshops for equipment in the Chemistry discipline will aid your success in this role.

Time management skills coupled with well-developed writing skills, with an emphasis on the ability to evaluate, analyse and communicate information clearly is essential.

Experience with mass spectrometry and/or HPLC instrumentation will be highly regarded.
