The Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance is one of the largest Department in the Faculty with over 50 staff members. The Department is home to a group of experts who publish world class research and undertake high level scholarship activities both within Australia and internationally. The Department enjoys strong support from the professional accounting bodies, firms, and international businesses. Our programs are recognised by key professional accounting bodies and include the country's longest-running and most highly regarded Accounting and Corporate Governance programs.

The Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance is currently seeking a Departmental Administrative Assistant to support the general administrative functions of the department. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to the Department staff and carry out all administrative duties as advised by the Senior Departmental Administrative Officer and the Head of Department.
To be considered for this position candidates must submit as part of their application, a separate document responding to the selection criteria below:
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office – excellent word processing skills and proficient use of basic spreadsheets, Office 365, plus ability to manage online contents and update web based resources.
- Demonstrated administrative experience, with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Well developed interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships within the Department and other work areas.
- Proven ability to work as a team member or independently as required
Salary Package: from $63,882 to $68,850 (Level 4), plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
Appointment Type: Full-time, continuing position. This position will be subject to probationary conditions.
