The role

Working within the Academic Development Group, the Senior Advisor Vocational Education Quality and Development provides leadership and expert advice in educational development, learning design and future pedagogies to enhance practice and outcomes across all delivery locations and channels. The role supports the capacity of the School of Vocational Business Education to develop and deliver on learning and teaching priorities, program development and associated quality processes and practices.

Your responsibilities

The role will work closely with the Senior Manager, Academic Development Group to support the School of Vocational Business Education in quality assurance and continuous improvement by leading, enabling and supporting the design, development and delivery of student-centred learning experiences. As the successful candidate, you will provide advice on state and Commonwealth VET policy developments and the implications of changing policy for the operation and growth of the School as well as advise on College and University quality processes for VET programs.

Skills & Experience required

To be considered for this role, you will have expertise in learning design, pedagogical innovation and the implementation of training packages, along with demonstrated experience in the application of quality assurance and continuous improvement principles. Proven experience in providing professional development to support quality and innovation in learning and teaching along with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills will be critical to your success in this role.
