Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences
The Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences is a strong faculty that has a coherent focus on health and well-being underpinned by a clear integrative theme related to preventative health and behaviour change. Furthermore, the Faculty provides the opportunity for the allied health sciences to have a strong voice and great visibility within the University.
The Faculty currently includes six schools and five research centres:
- School of Dentistry
- School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences
- School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences
- School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work
- School of Pharmacy
- School of Psychology
- Centre for Youth Substance Abuse Research
- RECOVER Injury Research Centre
- Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS)
- Centre for the Economics and Business of Health (a joint University-level centre with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law)
- University-level Poche Centre for Indigenous Health.

This position will provide fast, accurate and reliable administrative support to facilitate the flow of information within the Faculty Executive Office, throughout the Faculty, and to stakeholders both internal and external to the University. Other tasks will include, but are not limited to, co-ordinating high level executive meetings and drafting meeting agendas, develop and maintain a well organised records management system and co-ordinating travel arrangements.
Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree or completion of an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training. You should also have experience in providing high level executive support and extensive experience with word processing. You will have high level organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail and have excellent interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time, continuing appointment at HEW Level 5. The remuneration package will be in the range $64,597.80 per annum to $72,348.94 per annum, plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $75,579.43 p.a. to $84,648.26 p.a.).
