The in-house Finance team is now recruiting for a Project Management Accountant to the team to assist the Head of Finance and work alongside the Management Accountant. The Alan Turing Institute has had significant growth since setup and this is expected to continue. This is an exciting opportunity to propel the finance function into the next phase.

THE ALAN TURING INSTITUTE
Launched in November 2015, the Alan Turing Institute is the national institute for data science. Our mission is to make great leaps in data science research to change the world for the better.
The Institute is headquartered at The British Library, and brings together researchers from a range of disciplines – mathematics, statistics, computing, engineering and social sciences, – from five leading universities and industry partners.
This role offers the opportunity to design, improve, communicate and implement best practice finance policies. A strong finance background is a must with the candidate being able to understand all areas of finance including Financial and Management Accounts, Project Accounting, Budgeting, Payments, Reporting and Finance Systems. As the Institute is still relatively young it is expected that the successful candidate will flexible and adaptable.
The Project Management Accountant will lead on tracking to our contracts with our partners such as LRF, HSBC, GCHQ, Intel, Accenture and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We currently have around 25 projects/contracts and are taking on another one a week roughly.
