Part time, 21 hours per week
Salary: £35,135 to £38, 051 (full-time equivalent) pa inclusive of London Weighting Allowance
We are looking for a Fire Safety Officer to join our Health and Safety department. Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining fire safety management within the University in order to ensure statutory compliance. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining fire risk assessments and ensuring suitable fire emergency procedures for all University managed premises. Training, communication and engagement with staff, contractors and students is essential and a positive and professional attitude, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, will be key in the facilitation of activities undertaken to proportionately manage significant fire risks.
