Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs – Abu Dhabi      University

Established in 2003, with over 7,500 students and based in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi University (ADU) is a rapidly growing private, multi-campus university dedicated to meeting educational needs in the UAE and neighboring countries.

An ambitious but achievable new Strategic Plan has been developed with student success at its heart. By the end of the five year life of the Plan, we expect our student numbers to grow to 10,000, while enhancing our reputation, the success of our students and contribution to society and economy. These ambitions cannot be realized without financial sustainability and administrative excellence. We are therefore looking for an outstanding Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs (VC) to assist us in achieving these ambitions.

Reporting to the Chancellor and working closely with the Provost, the VC will be a key member of the Chancellor’s Senior Leadership Team and will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership to the University’s administrative and financial affairs functions including: Finance, HR, IT, Facilities Management and Procurement. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate significant strategic and operational finance and administrative experience gained at the most senior levels within a large, complex, people-focused organisation, as well as the necessary expertise to ensure the financial and administrative resources are aligned with the University’s key goals; student success being at the heart of ADU’s strategy.
