This post offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Research Associate to join a multidisciplinary team in the Centre for Academic Primary Care (CAPC) at the University of Bristol.

The post will primarily support a systematic review led by Dr Rupert Payne, in collaboration with the Universities of Oxford and Nottingham. The review is focused on a summary of barriers and attitudes towards genetics in primary care, and identifying drugs commonly used in primary care for which there is evidence that genetic profiling may inform clinical practice.

There is an equivalent reviewer funded in Nottingham on this project. The review forms part of a larger evidence synthesis project, led by Alyson Huntley, within the newly established NIHR primary health care for research evidence synthesis (SPCR-ES) group.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide some additional screening for two further mixed-methods reviews on primary/secondary care interface medicine (1 month; PI Alyson Huntley) and a rapid appraisal of primary health care community hubs (3 months; PI Gene Feder).
